David B. Dahlquist

David B. Dahlquist is a nationally recognized public artist and educator based in Des Moines, Iowa, whose career spans decades of site-specific sculptural installations woven into architecture and landscape. As Principal of RDG Planning and Design's Art Studio for sixteen years, he led major public commissions across the Midwest, including the iconic From Here to There installation on the High Trestle Trail Bridge in central Iowa. In 2016, he received Iowa's Governor's Award for Excellence and Innovation in the Arts. He returned to personal studio ceramics in 2020, reaffirming his original love of clay.
