Danielle SeeWalker
Danielle SeeWalker is a Húŋkpapȟa Lakȟóta artist, muralist, and activist from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, now based in Denver, Colorado. A self-described artivist, she uses mixed media and traditional Native American materials to tell contemporary Indigenous stories. She is the author of Still Here: A Past to Present Insight of Native American People and Culture and co-founder of The Red Road Project. Her work has earned an Emmy Award and the Denver Mayor's Award for Excellence in Arts and Culture.
