Curtis Ingvoldstad
Curtis Ingvoldstad is a chainsaw sculptor based in Nerstrand, Minnesota. He first picked up a chainsaw in 1999 and went full-time in 2007 after earning a B.A. in video and performance art from the University of Minnesota. His monumental works include the Minnesota Vikings' Skol Chant Drum, the beloved LOTI Pencil in Minneapolis, and a Cesar Chavez memorial in West Saint Paul. Ingvoldstad transforms salvaged logs into expressive, large-scale sculptures for clients ranging from cities to professional sports teams.
