Cook County Students & Community Volunteers

Our North was created by 4th and 11th grade students from Cook County schools, mentored by artists Karen Neal and Jeannie Wright, art teacher Mary MacDonald, 4th grade teacher Jana Larsen, and Art Round Town board member Ann Mershon. This intergenerational collaboration brought together young artists and experienced community members to celebrate Cook County through mosaic art, with each participant contributing tile work that captures the spirit of Minnesota's North Shore.
