Candace Cole

Candace Cole is a visual arts teacher in the Green Bay Area Public School District who uses collaborative mural projects as both art education and community building. Her designs for public walls — including Guardian of Life and the Frida Kahlo tribute mural — give students hands-on experience with large-scale art while exploring themes of nature, cultural heritage, and identity. Cole's approach centers on the belief that public art belongs to everyone who helps make it.
