Brian Kehoe

Brian Kehoe is a Madison, Wisconsin-based muralist, sign painter, and maker who grew up in rural Wisconsin. He earned his studio art degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, focusing on printmaking, sculpture, and installation. A pivotal moment came after watching the documentary Sign Painters, which led him to hand-lettering and large-scale mural work. He co-owns OhYa Studio with designer Ray Mawst, and their collaborations include some of Madison’s most recognizable murals. His work celebrates the beauty of the handmade.
