Bobbie Peterson

Bobbie Peterson is the artist who painted the Mora Klocka, a 20-foot-tall Swedish grandfather clock in downtown Mora, Minnesota. Peterson decorated the clock in the traditional kurbitsmålning folk art style, bringing the bright floral patterns of Sweden's Dalarna region to the heart of the American Midwest. The Klocka was built in 1994 by the Dala Heritage Society to honor Mora's Swedish settlers and its sister-city relationship with Mora, Sweden.
