Benjamin Victor

Benjamin Victor is an American sculptor based in Boise, Idaho, and the only living artist with four sculptures in the National Statuary Hall at the United States Capitol. Born in Taft, California in 1979, he studied at Northern State University and received his first major commission at age 23. His work frequently honors Native American leaders, including Chief Standing Bear and Sarah Winnemucca. Victor's figurative bronze sculptures are known for their expressive detail and dignified portrayals of historical figures.
