Annie Mariano
Annie Mariano is a metalwork sculptor based in Danbury, Connecticut, who left a career in banking during the pandemic to pursue her lifelong passion for art. Working primarily in steel, stainless steel, bronze, and aluminum, she creates nature-inspired sculptures that capture vitality and motion in static forms. Her work has been exhibited at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and won first place at the North Carolina Arboretum's "Wild Art" show. Annie's pieces — birds, trees, nests, and flowers — are designed to be tucked into natural landscapes, blurring the line between art and the living world.
