Anita Prentice

Anita Prentice is an award-winning mosaic artist based in Fort Pierce, Florida. Her career began about 25 years ago when she transformed a discarded taxidermist fish into art. Known for her "painted mosaics" technique — using colorful glass pieces like a palette — Prentice has created over 150 mosaic benches across St. Lucie County, grave cap mosaics honoring the Florida Highwaymen painters, and public murals throughout the Treasure Coast region.
