Andy Arend
Andy Ray Arend is a Minnesota-born sculptor known for transforming scrap metal, rebar, and discarded tools into striking wildlife sculptures. Based in Rochester, he began working with metal at age fourteen and earned his BFA from North Dakota State University. An avid fisherman, Arend draws deep inspiration from freshwater ecosystems, and his large-scale fish sculptures have become his signature work. His pieces are permanently installed throughout Rochester and Fargo, North Dakota, as part of public art programs including Rochester Art Center's Art4Trails.
