Adam Swanson
Adam Swanson is a painter and muralist based near Duluth, Minnesota, whose vivid work explores the intersection of science, nature, and human activity. After earning his BFA from the University of Minnesota Duluth, he worked in Antarctica for the National Science Foundation — an experience that deepened his commitment to environmental storytelling. His murals and paintings feature wild animals, bright landscapes, robots, and research equipment. Notable projects include a mural at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and an artist-at-sea residency aboard the RV Falkor in the Pacific Ocean.
