Aaryon Bird Williams
Aaryon Bird Williams is an Omaha-based interdisciplinary artist, muralist, and community leader originally from Gary, Indiana. After moving to Omaha in 2004 to attend North High School, Williams pursued an international basketball career before channeling his energy into art and youth mentorship. He founded FLIYE Arts Company and the FLIYE Arts Youth Development program at Omaha North High, providing resources and mentoring to young artists. His public works include the Terence Crawford Mural at Miller Park Elementary and the Love Mural near Loves Jazz and Art Center. Williams won an OEA outstanding public arts award in 2021.
