Sylvia VanNorman

Born in 2008, and 10 years old at the time of construction, Sylvia has a strong interest in art, cooking for people, the earth, and animals. When she grows up she hopes to do something that combines art, math, and science because they are her favorite subjects. She enjoyed getting to work on a large-scale version of her sculpture with craftsman, Charles Morrill and learning to use power tools! She learned a lot through the building process about trial and error and perseverance! She enjoyed the experience and support of friends and family who helped with construction.
