Ryan Sweere

Ryan Sweere is an American postmodern artist born in 1976 in Owatonna, Minnesota. He studied at the Minnesota Perpich Arts High School and earned his BFA in Painting from the College of Visual Arts in Saint Paul, with a year studying fresco and oil painting in Florence, Italy. His work spans painting, drawing, and mixed-media assemblage, blending pop art and folk art traditions. A graphic designer by day, he recently launched Halftone Press for custom prints and limited edition artworks. He lives in Eagan, Minnesota.
