Missy Whiteman

Missy Whiteman is an Emmy-nominated Indigenous filmmaker, media artist, and cultural consultant of Northern Arapaho and Kickapoo descent. A graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, her work blends experimental aesthetics with Indigenous futurism, exploring themes of identity, cultural survival, and resilience. As founder of Independent Indigenous Film & Media, she provides culturally relevant media education and platforms for Native youth and artists.
