Mae Stoutenburg

Mae Stoutenburg is a mosaic and mural artist based in the Chequamegon Bay region of northern Wisconsin. Alongside Rose Spieler-Sandberg, she forms the duo Piece of Mind Mosaics, creating community-driven public art across Ashland. Mae specializes in translating regional ecology into vibrant stained glass mosaics, from towering vegetables to native wildflowers. Her collaborative projects invite hundreds of community members to design and build pieces that become part of permanent public installations.
