John Hock
John Hock is a sculptor and arts champion born in Washington, D.C. Working in the Constructivist tradition, he welds found objects and reclaimed materials into dynamic forms inspired by Picasso and Julio Gonzalez. Hock holds an MFA from Syracuse University and founded Franconia Sculpture Park in 1996, one of the largest open-air sculpture parks in the country. He curates Western Sculpture Park in Saint Paul and directs NE Sculpture Gallery Factory in Minneapolis. His work appears in public collections across five states.
