Jeremy Caniglia

Jeremy Caniglia is an internationally acclaimed painter, art historian, and professor at Creighton Prep in Omaha, Nebraska. Born in 1970, he studied under Odd Nerdrum in Norway and at the Hoffberger School of Painting. A member of New York's historic Salmagundi Club, he won the 2023 Nebraska Biennial Viewers' Choice Award for best in show. His scholarly work explores Caravaggio's influence on Rembrandt, and his Carlentini family heritage connects him deeply to South Omaha's Italian community.
