Hilde DeBruyne

Hilde DeBruyne is a Belgian-American sculptor working in clay, metal, and bronze from her forest studio in Cumming, Iowa. Born into a family of artists — her father was sculptor Paul DeBruyne — she studied Art History and Archeology at the University of Ghent. Her abstract forms reflect nature and the cycle of life, inspired by rock formations, pebbles, and weathered wood. Her public installations span Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Belgium.
