Claudia Valentino

Claudia Valentino is an Argentine-born muralist and founder of Copla LLC, a community-driven mural arts studio in Minneapolis. Born in Mexico to parents exiled from South America during the 1970s dictatorships, she studied dance and photography before moving to Minneapolis in 2009, where she added painting and mosaic to her practice. Valentino specializes in co-creating murals through intensive community engagement and has received grants from Forecast Public Art and the Walker Art Center.
